Hi there! I’m Gwen Tanner, author of Gift of the Moon, my first children’s book. I am from a family of educators (mom, dad, aunt #1 and aunt #2 were all elementary school teachers), so I figured I should break out of the family business and do something different! I tried pre-law, then architecture and end up graduating in computer engineering. But guess what? I still ended up in the educational field as an instructional technologist. I enjoy telling stories and the visual aspects of storytelling, that is why I love writing children’s stories.
In addition to storytelling, I enjoy travelling, photography and have big love for animals – especially my bulldog, Herman. One of my dreams is to be a foster to home to rescued bulldogs (or probably any animal in need). If I could, I’d own a zoo.
